finances & table saws

woke up this morning to the 6am sounds of the loudest saws imaginable. unsurprisingly, this neighbourly construction site brought immediate half-waking thoughts of monies owed and monies spent. a beautiful day awaits us though. the oatmeal is almost ready. can you smell it? cinnamon, brown sugar, and oldtape sounds will guide us through. raji is less with cold, and valentine is more with inclination toward antigone and tragic writings.

don't be saiyde, bronfman!

w is for wachowski

and still it might redeem itself.
mightn't it?
v is for vendetta
(go ask benjamin4)

all hallows

it's been decided. this 10.31.05 the four descend on blackened citystreets as jack skellington, sally shock (the seamstress), victor van dort, and the corpse bride. perhaps they will collect candy or be caught in masked true intentions of moonhowl "arrrooogh!!"

sophocles

tonight, the work of sophocles. his oedipus rex. the same that spawned freud's complex and countless words to similar effect. tonight in view of levi-strauss, vernant and others, valentine looks for his own way in:

If I could just block off my ears,
the springs of hearing, I would stop at nothing -
I'd wall up my loathsome body like a prison,
blind to the sound of life, not just the sight.
- Oedipus (1525-1528)
